Stephanie Hennings, MSW, CSWA

Hi, I’m Steph!

Youth and Family Therapist

As a Certified Social Work Associate (CSWA), I am passionate about supporting youth and families through life’s transitions. By prioritizing emotional safety and authentic rapport, I create a calm, compassionate space where every voice matters.

The Professional Stuff

My journey to this work wasn’t a straight line, but every twist and turn taught me the value of persistence and heart. After a twenty-year break focusing on life’s other adventures, I returned to my path with a renewed purpose, earning my Master’s in Social Work from Walden University.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered. I’m here to hold space for children, young adults, and their families as they move through the challenges of ADHD, trauma, PTSD, or anxiety, offering a gentle place to land during life’s more difficult seasons. My role is to create that kind of space, one where every voice matters and every experience is met with respect and compassion. Building strong, authentic rapport is central to how I show up as a therapist. At the heart of my work is a simple belief: young people and their families heal best when they feel genuinely safe, welcomed, and free to be themselves.

I focus on fostering emotional safety and connection so youth and caregivers can explore challenges at a pace that feels right for them. I’ve worked in a youth shelter serving homeless and at-risk youth, in an elementary school as a case manager, and as a therapist for youth and families, where I discovered how much I value creating spaces that feels calm, connected, and genuinely supportive.

The Personal Stuff

When I’m not in the office, my heart is with my family. My husband and I are grateful to have several of our children and grandchildren right here in the Rogue Valley, though we have always embraced the unique rhythm of military life. With family members stationed in London, Anchorage, and Las Vegas, I’ve learned firsthand how to stay connected across the miles. Whether they are biological, or joined to me by heart, my six children and my growing circle of grandkids are my greatest joy.
