We offer medication management as part of a comprehensive, team-based approach to mental health care for children, teens, and young adults (ages 6-24)
Medication services are also available for adults currently receiving caregiver support services within our practice, allowing for coordinated and consistent care.
What is Medication Management?
Medication management is a service provided by a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to evaluate, prescribe, and monitor medications that support mental health.
This includes:
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
Diagnosis and treatment planning
Medication prescribing and adjustments
Ongoing monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
Coordination with your therapy team
What To Expect:
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
60 minute appointment
Review of symptoms, history, and current concerns
Discussion of diagnosis and treatment options
Collaborative decision-making about medication (if appropriate)
Follow-Up Appointments
Ongoing check-ins to monitor progress
Medication adjustments as needed
Support with side effects and questions
Coordination with your therapist and treatment team
Is medication right for me?
Medication may be helpful when:
Symptoms are significantly impacting daily functioning
Therapy alone hasn’t been enough
There are biological or neurological factors involved
Additional support is needed to help the client engage in therapy
