Peer Support ServicesSupporting youth and families through connection, lived experience, and real-world support
We believe that healing happens in relationships, not just in sessions, but in everyday life. Peer Support Services offer youth and families the opportunity to connect with someone who understands challenges through lived experience and can walk alongside them in a meaningful, supportive way.
Peer Support Specialists are trusted members of our care team who provide non-clinical, relationship-based support focused on connection, encouragement, and skill-building.
.
What Is Peer Support?
Peer Support is a non-clinical service provided by individuals with lived experience navigating behavioral health challenges and systems.
Peer Support Specialists work alongside youth and families to:
Build trust and meaningful connection
Support confidence and self-advocacy
Practice real-life coping and communication skills
Increase engagement in services and daily life
Navigate systems like school, community resources, and behavioral health services
Peer support is not therapy; it is a powerful, complementary service that helps youth and families apply what they are learning in real, everyday settings.
