Susan Kibe, PMHNP

Hi, I’m Susan!

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care across the lifespan. I specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing mental health conditions across the lifespan using evidence-based medication management and supportive psychotherapy.

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment journey. My approach emphasizes collaboration, education, and individualized care plans that support long-term wellness and improved quality of life.

About Me

I earned my Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Most of my clinical practice has been in outpatient settings, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to clients ranging from six years of age through the geriatric population.

In addition, I have experience working in a rehabilitation setting, providing care to patients in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). My clinical experience includes assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, sleep disorders, psychotic disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related disorders, and eating disorders.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family, and exploring new cuisines and cultural dining experiences - always excited to try a new restaurant or discover a new favorite dish.
